Important Info for Friday, December 8th
The gate by the Tennis Center will close 15 minutes after the course practice has finished at the end of each day. If you are in the venue after that, please use the Team Parking exit located north of the Tennis Center to leave the venue.
In addition, Stars and Stripes jerseys cannot be worn in competition at this event.
Riders, as a reminder you must keep both hands on your handlebars during racing per rule 1I1(k). Riders cannot use the "puppy paw" position during racing.
Bike wash for Team Parking is located near the entrance to Team Parking. Washing is not allowed within team parking or adjacent to the course.
Please remember to adhere to the posted practice times.
Pit passes are required for all junior and all UCI races and are limited to 2 per rider.
Team Relay Information
All Team Relay events will be run under the same procedures, with the exception of penalties and bonuses in the non-championship event.
The starting rider will be called up to the finish line for the start. All other team members will be held in rider staging, which is moved to the bottom of the team parking area near the start lights, and directed by race staff to their boxes when appropriate. Collegiate teams will be assigned their boxes.
As riders complete their lap, they will stay on the right as they enter the exchange zone in the start/finish chute. The following riders will be staged on the left in the exchange zone along the middle fence line, to allow for tagging of teammates. A physical tag on the elbow is required to complete the rider exchange.
Riders completing two laps may return to rider staging through the expo area after exiting the course.

Parking
All spectator parking is at the Louisville Zoo at 1150-1210 Trevilian Way, Louisville, KY 40213. No tent set-up is allowed on the zoo grounds. Parking in the adjoining neighborhoods is not allowed. Parking will be FREE.
Wristband / Gate Fee
All competitors receive an admission wristband with race registration. Additional wristbands, $25, for those 11 years and up are available for purchase. Competitors will pick up their wristband and any additional wristbands they purchased at rider registration/packet pickup. Spectators may pick up their pre-purchased wristbands at the Tennis Center.

Wristbands are also included in some team parking and expo packages.
Awards / Podium
Awards Tuesday-Saturday will be at the end of the day following the conclusion of the last race. Please check the competition schedule for times.
Sunday's award ceremony will be per the event schedule.
Team Space
For those with team space, they may park their vehicle in the team tent area ONLY if it fits in their footprint, however getting in and out is limited during the day due to congestion so it's recommended to park at the zoo if they want to come and go.

Course Description
Black Course - 1.9 miles - 70’ of elevation gain (3km - 22m) - UCI fields - 17/18, U23, M/W Elite
Blue Course - 1.7 miles - 57’ of elevation gain (2.8km - 17m) - Non Champ (W 19+ M 19-39, 40+) and USAC Age Group (W 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, M 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64)
Green Course - 1.6 miles - 51’ of elevation gain (2.6km - 16m) Junior (13-14, 15-16), USAC Age Group (W 60+ M 65-69,70+) and Non Champ (M/W 11-18)
Red Course - .9 miles - 28’ of elevation gain (1.5km - 9m) Futures 10U non-champ, 11/12 Championship

Technical Support / Pit
Riders must display number bibs at all times on all courses for practice and race sessions. All coaches/parents of 14-and-under athletes pre-riding the courses will be required to sign a waiver and pick up a “coach” number at registration. Numbers must be displayed on the coach/parent at all times.
Course pre-rides are only allowed during open course times found on the event schedule. The course is not open in between races so there will be no allowed pre-riding in between any scheduled racing. Please note the course you are racing will be color-coordinated to the color of the bib you are wearing. You may only practice at the determined times for your course.

Power washers in the pit are reserved during the day for race use only. Pre-ride and pre-race riders should use the neutral wash to clean off their bikes.

Status updates, and if needed, revised schedules will be communicated to the affected parties through a variety of methods:

USA Cycling will utilize its social media platforms to provide outreach to spectators and volunteers.
Venue announcements will be used in the case of on-site modifications and notifications, using Public Address System and posted materials at RaceOffice/Awards Stage.
Credentialed media will be provided with updates through USA Cycling communications staff.
