USA Cycling is modifying its High School MTB festival by moving away from High School specific cross-country competitions at this year’s Mountain Bike National Championships. The event will instead focus on providing middle and high school-aged racers competition opportunities in other non-championship or championship races along with ancillary events focused on the High School age group.
The USA Cycling MTB National Championships will include a cycling festival featuring clinics and rides in multiple cycling disciplines and a collegiate fair. These activities will be offered during Nationals weekend, providing junior racers and their parents access to these ancillary events while condensing their time away from home.
Included in the festival will be a cyclocross clinic, BMX activities, a collegiate fair, and more on the weekend of July 22-24. Families do not need to have a registered rider to take part in the festival activities.
