With the LA2028 Olympic games rapidly approaching, USA Cycling has uncovered a group of athletes that are currently going through a series of three Talent Integration camps.
Jelaani Davis, Christian Spencer, Elliott Davis, Reid Myers, Sterling Reneau, Jack Snare, Graham Weaver, Catherine Hamilton, Tess Edwards, Megan Mattson, Mallory Tse, and Hayley Yoslov have been invited to the 2023 Search for Speed training camp in California.
With support from the Rapha Foundation, LOOK Cycle, and Wattbike, the Search for Speed will be looking for untapped talent in LA County with an eye toward Los Angeles 2028.
Three programs mark the first Tribal College and University and first women’s HBCU teams among the 215 existing club and varsity collegiate cycling programs in the U.S.
Three-year grant program will provide increased access to cycling for Indigenous and Black student-athletes
Teams will strengthen the schools’ ability to recruit, inspire and develop
leadership skills amongst their students
